Yes, but we charge 10,000Ksh to tow out any vehicle using our tractors.
Break down
Most of the camps/lodges have their own garage and mechanics. You will need to talk to their manager if you need their service.
We have policemen based at Purungat (Mara Bridge). They can visit the scene and write a report but you will then referred to the nearest police station in Lolgorian town outside the park. Please ask our office for their phone number.
Hospital
There are clinics at Kichwa Tembo Camp and Mara Serena Lodge.
Emergency Evacuation
AMREF flying doctors offer an emergency evacuation for a critically ill person. The evacuation service can cost up to US$5,000 if you are not a member. It is recommended that one joins AMREF when visiting the Mara – see below for details.
